The Japanese term "Ashiatsu" translates to both "foot" and "pressure." Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy is a foot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight.

Deep Tissue Without Discomfort

If clients need deep tissue work, but don't enjoy the discomfort that comes with pointy elbows and thumbs, then Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy® is the treatment for them! Gravity enables therapists to deliver up to 3x deeper pressure than they could using traditional hands-on treatments.

Using the broad surface of your foot as a massage tool provides consistent pressure, which is nice on the body. As a result, clients will enjoy extra range and decrease in chronic tension—without pain!

Frees Up Bundled Nerves

Moving along the paraspinal muscles and lumbar region can relieve muscle spasms and open up spaces in between vertebrae where spinal nerves pass through. It will also increase circulation as more fresh blood is pumped back into these areas.

Elongates Muscles and Heals

Many ashiatsu strokes help to elongate the spine. These movements dramatically stretch shortened muscles, which helps relieve pain and discomfort—helping your body's natural healing process along. To help your body heal effectively, we recommend that you drink plenty of water both before and after a treatment.

Improves Posture and Decreases Pain

After only a few treatments, ashiatsu barefoot massage has been known to improve posture and range of motion. It will significantly reduce or eliminate chronic muscle pain and lead to other benefits such as improved bodily functions (such as blood circulation), leading the person receiving treatment feeling more balanced within their body.

The usual treatment schedule for this condition is one session per week for at least six weeks.
